Baby Generation, Inc. conducting business under its tradename Mockingbird (“Mockingbird”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website located at www.hellomockingbird.com and help.hellomockingbird.com (the “Sites”). We respect the privacy of our visitors and customers (“you”, “your”). This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains the type of information, including personal information, that we collect and how we collect, use, access, disclose, safeguard, store and otherwise process your personal information (i.e., any information that personally identifies you such as your name and contact information), when you interact with us through the Sites, purchase products from us (“Products”), or utilize our customer service features through text messages, interactive features (such as chatbots) that are available on the Sites, as well as email, mail and/or phone (“Customer Support”). The Sites, the Products and Customer Support are collectively referred to as the “Services”. This Policy does not apply to information that we process on behalf of our business partners (such as businesses or other organizations) or if you are a job applicant or employee of Baby Generation, Inc.
Please read this Policy carefully. You can download a printable copy of this Policy here. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, please do not access or use the Services. Your clicking to accept this Policy when presented with the option or your use of the Services is your acknowledgement and agreement (i) to the terms of this Policy and any other applicable agreement that may be provided together with the Services, and (ii) that we have your permission to collect and process your information, including any personal information, as described in this Policy. If you’re agreeing to this Policy on behalf of an organization or entity, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to agree to this Policy on behalf of that organization or entity and to bind them to these provisions (in which case, the references to “you” and “your” in this Policy, except for in this sentence, refer collectively to you personally and to that organization or entity).
We may need to make changes to this Policy as privacy laws change, our Services evolve, or we add or change service providers among other things. As a result, we reserve the right to make changes to this Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes we make to this Policy by updating the “Effective as of” date of this Policy found at the top of this Policy. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Policy on www.hellomockingbird.com. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of changes to these terms means you accept the updated Policy.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may collect the following information, including personal information, about you through your interaction with our Services:
- Contact information. We may collect contact information, such as your name and contact details including phone number, email address, street/mailing address, zip code only, telephone or fax number, and other personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you purchase a Product, contact us via our Customer Support services, provide through our “Contact Us” link, or provide through our Product Registration page.
- Commercial data. We may collect commercial data, including information on Products you purchase, Products you place in your shopping cart (and remove), Products you review, history and records of any Products inquired about or purchased, or other purchase information. Your payment information is collected by our third-party payment processor, however, we have record that you have made a payment, and we have access to your full name, the name of your payment card provider (e.g., Visa), and the last four (4) digits of the payment card.
- Marketing and communications data. We may collect data relating to marketing and communications, including your preferences for receiving our marketing communications and details about your engagement with them, or your interest in any Products we sell.
- Audio and visual information. You may submit audio and visual information (e.g., photos) of yourself and/or family members by submitting reviews of Products we sell, provide information through Customer Support services, or by joining our Mockingbird Parent Host program. By submitting a review, you are agreeing to our Terms of Use, which authorizes us certain rights to such review and any image(s) submitted with the review.
- Other information, including personal information you choose to submit to us through communications, Customer Support exchanges, our “Contact Us” link, our surveys, a competition, reporting a problem, email, or otherwise, which may include information about you, your location, your family, the Products you use and your needs regarding the Products. By contacting us for any reason, including to make a privacy request, you understand and agree that the communications may be monitored and recorded. Similarly, if you leave your contact information in communications with us, you understand and agree that the information you provide may be utilized to contact you and act upon any request indicated in such communications.
- Parent Host Information. If you choose to apply to become a Parent Host in the Mockingbird Parent Host program, we will collect certain information from you, including personal information, through our third party service provider, Moast, including for example, first name, last name, address, Products purchased, your experience with the products, a description of yourself and how you use the Product(s) and any images (photos) you choose to upload. By applying to become a Parent Host, you are agreeing to our Mockingbird Community Program Terms, and you will be sharing your information with Moast and agreeing to their privacy policy.
- Demographic and Health Data. You may voluntarily provide to us certain demographic data (marital status, number of children, age) and health data (e.g., pregnancy information) about you and your family, for example, when you interact with our Customer Support services, sign up as a Parent Host, complete a survey provided by us, or leave a review for a Product. Such demographic data and health data may also be collected by us through inferences by your interaction with the Sites and our Services. In states with laws applicable to consumer health data (e.g., Washington), the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy also applies.
- Derivative data and usage information. We may automatically collect data and usage information such as technical information related to your use of the Site, including device name and type, IP address, other set up data, operating system, browser type, access times, pages viewed, other interactions with the Services, which are automatically collected and stored in log files. We may use technology that allows us to see how you move throughout the Sites.
- Geolocation and GPS Data, including the physical location of your device(s), including your mobile device.
- Market and research information. We may collect market and research information automatically or through other means. We may collect IP address, social media handle(s), or other online identifiers of a person, email address/mobile number if used for direct marketing and name and address, browser/web history data and preferences expressed through selection/viewing/purchase of Products, analytics and profiles based on the data collected on you.
- Inferences about or derived from any of the information above that may relate to your preferences or other matters. Through your use of the Sites, your interactions with Customer Support, and/or your purchase of Product(s), you may be implicitly providing us with information that may suggest certain attributes about you, your family, and/or your health. For example, if you are shopping for an infant car seat adapter, that may suggest that you are pregnant or have an infant. We may use these inferences, along with other information, to create a consumer profile about you for internal purposes to facilitate communication with you, improve our Product offerings, and provide you with information regarding Products we believe you may like or be interested in, as well as sharing these profiles with our partners, including third party advertisers, who may be interested in providing information to you. If you do not wish to implicitly suggest such information to us, please do not access our Sites or use our Services. By using our Services you are consenting to us collecting such information and processing it in accordance with this Policy.
HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may use your personal information and other information to:
- Manage our relationship with you, including communicating with you, providing you with information regarding our Products including Products that may be of interest to you, providing information regarding recall and safety alerts, communicating with you concerning billing and order information, facilitation of the Mockingbird Parent Host program (as applicable), handling claims, troubleshooting, and providing Customer Support services;
- Provide, develop and improve our Services, including delivering our Services to you and for additional purposes that help us to develop and improve the quality of our Services (including as part of the development of any new products and services);
- Comply with a legal, regulatory or relevant industry standard obligation, including this Policy, intellectual property infringement, or enforcing our Terms of Use and/or our Customer Terms & Conditions;
- Protect against, identify and prevent fraud or other criminal activity, claims and other liabilities, that we may notice based upon any activity on your use of the Services;
- Monitor your use of the Services, including your use of the Site and any interactive features on our Site (such as a chatbot);
- Improve the security and other related system and network functions including preventing misuse;
- Perform analytics, including trend and financial analysis, market and consumer research, anonymization and aggregation of personal information; and
- Conduct marketing activities, including targeted advertising. We may use your information (as well as inferences), including your personal information, for marketing activities. Marketing activities may include emails and text messages (in accordance with our Terms of Use) which you may opt-in to, and targeted or interest based advertising (which you may have an option to opt-out of). As an example of targeted or interest based advertising (for which you may have an option to opt-out of), we may compile a list of customers who performed certain actions on our Sites (e.g., placed a Product in a cart and did not purchase it), purchased Products, or spent a certain dollar amount on Products with us, and provide that customer list to a third party advertiser (e.g., Meta).
- Social Media Interactions. We may interact with you on social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat). If you contact us on one of our social media accounts or otherwise direct us to communicate with you via social media (including by tagging us in a post or using one or more of our hashtags, e.g., #MockingbirdStroller), we may use that information to contact you via direct message or use other social media tools to interact with you. In such instances, your interactions with us are governed by this Policy as well as the privacy policy of the applicable social media platform. HOW WE DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATION
We may disclose your personal information or other information to third parties as follows, and as otherwise described in this Policy or other applicable notices provided to you:
- With your consent. Such consent may be expressly provided (e.g., via a check box or a communication with our Customer Support services) or implicitly provided (e.g., purchasing a product and providing your shipping information). In such circumstances, we may disclose your personal information with third parties to facilitate marketing, selling, shipping and/or providing Products to you, and in other situations where you have provided permission. If you have signed up to be a host on our Mockingbird Parent Host program, we may disclose your information, including images, on our Sites to facilitate such program. If you have submitted a review on a Product through our Sites, we will disclose the information, including pictures, on our Sites when we post the review and may use the review and pictures in accordance with our Terms of Use, which you must agree to in order to submit a review. If you have interacted with us on a social media platform and tagged us in a post or used one of our hashtags, we may re-post your image(s) and related information through our social media platform account;
- With our Service Providers, who facilitate us in providing the Services to you including processing, storage, and technical assistance, including our third party payment processors and third party account management platforms, whereby we have entered into contracts with such service providers which include limitations on their use of certain of your information and only as necessary to provide these Services to us/you;
- With Third-Party Technology Providers, including automated technology we may use to collect and analyze your information, such as Google Analytics, and this may include certain personal information of yours to help us understand your use and optimize your customer experience (please see our section on Cookies to learn more);
- With Third-Party Advertisers, for targeted advertising as described in this Policy;
- With Professional Advisors and Governmental Authorities, if we believe in good faith that disclosure, access, use or preservation of such information is necessary to (i) meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; (ii) enforce or investigate your compliance with the terms of any of our contracts or policies we have with you for potential violations; (iii) protect against physical, financial or other harm against the rights, safety or property of you, us, or any third-party; and, (iv) investigate fraud, technical, security or other operational issues; and
- In connection with Corporate Transactions, meaning changes to our corporate structure due to sale, transfer, merger or other reorganization of our company during which your personal information may be among the items sold or transferred.
We may share your non-personal information (including aggregated or anonymized data) with third-party business partners and service providers, and other users, to help us improve the Services and/or Products or raise awareness about safety issues about our Products or about the Sites.
We may create aggregated, de-identified and/or anonymized data from your personal information and other individuals whose personal information we collect. We may make personal information into de-identified and/or anonymized data by removing information that makes the data identifiable to you. We may use this aggregated, de-identified and/or anonymized data and share it with third parties for our lawful business purposes, including to analyze and improve the Services and promote our business. We will not attempt to re-identify any such data, except as permitted by law.
YOUR CHOICES
In this section, we describe the rights and choices available to all users regarding their personal information. Users who are located in certain locations, e.g., California and other U.S. States, can find additional information about their rights below.
- Access or update your information. You can contact us to access or request an update of your information.
- Opt-out of communications. If you no longer wish to receive marketing-related communications, you may opt-out of receiving these emails by clicking “Unsubscribe” found in emails we send you. Please note that if you choose to opt-out of marketing-related emails, you may continue to receive emails pertaining to purchased Products including review requests, shipping information, recall information and/or safety alert information. If you no longer wish to receive text messages from us, you can text STOP to any text message from us or by following the opt-out instructions described in our Terms of Use.
- Blocking images/clear gifs. Most browsers and devices allow you to configure your device to prevent images from loading. To do this, follow the instructions in your particular browser or device settings.

Advertising choices. You may be able to limit use of your information for targeted advertising/interest-based advertising through the following settings or options:
- Browser and mobile settings, which allow you to block third-party cookies and/or interest-based advertising;
- Privacy browsers/plug-ins, which allow you to block advertisements and tracking technologies;
- Platform settings, which are available through third-party platforms, e.g., Google and Facebook, that enable you to opt-out of use of your information for interest-based advertising;
- Ad industry tools, such as the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance, which allow you to opt-out of interest-based ads from participating companies.
You will need to apply these opt-out settings on each device and browser from which you wish to limit the use of your information for targeted advertising/interest-based advertising purposes.
Declining to provide personal information. We need to collect personal information to provide certain Services to you. If you do not provide the information we identify as required or mandatory, we may not be able to provide those Services to you. Additionally, if you would like to become a Parent Host and decline to provide certain information, you may not be able to become a Parent Host.
THIRD PARTY WEBSITES
Our Services may include links to third-party applications, products, services, or websites. If you access those links, you will leave our Services. Mockingbird does not control these third-party sites or their privacy practices, which may differ from Mockingbird’s practices. This Policy does not cover the personal information you choose to provide to or that is collected by these third parties. You are encouraged to review the privacy documentation of any third-party site you interact with before you allow them to collect and use your personal information.
Mockingbird may also provide social media features on the Site, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube buttons, that enable you to share information with your social networks or to interact with Mockingbird on various social media websites. Your use of these features may result in the collection or sharing of information, including personal information, about you depending on each specific social media website. This may include your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Sites, and a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.
USE OF COOKIES AND OTHER DATA COLLECTION TOOLS
Like many website owners and operators, Mockingbird and our third-party partners (e.g., marketing partners, analytics, or service providers) use various tracking technologies and automated data collection tools such as cookies, web beacons, tags, pixels, and other technology to provide the Services and collect certain information.

We may utilize technologies offered by third party providers that provide interactive features, such as a chatbot, on the Sites. Such technologies utilize cookies and software code to operate and permit you to chat with us. The third-party provider(s) of such chatbot(s) may access, record, and store information entered into the chatbot as well as information about webpages you visited on our Site, your IP address, your general geographic information (e.g., city, state). We collect and use your personal information that you share through the chatbot for the purposes described in this Policy.
Third party analytics and advertising companies may also collect personal data through our Sites, including identifiers and device information (such as cookie IDs, device IDs, and IP address), geolocation data, log data, and inferences based on and associated with that data, as described in our Cookie Policy here. These third-parties may combine this data across multiple sites to improve analytics for their own purposes and for others. Additionally, we may rely on third-parties to either display advertising on our Sites or to manage our advertising on other sites. These third-parties may use technologies such as cookies and pixels to gather information about your activities on our Sites and other sites in order to provide you with advertising based upon your browsing activities and interests. If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you interest-based ads, you may opt-out by clicking here. This does not opt you out of being served ads. You will continue to receive generic ads.
HOW WE SECURE YOUR INFORMATION
The security of your information is important to us. Mockingbird takes precautions to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, security risk is inherent in all internet and information technologies, and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.
Mockingbird is located in the United States, and all personal information will be accessed and stored there. Mockingbird does not do business outside of the United States. Where required, we have put in place appropriate safeguards with our affiliates, service providers, contractors, distributors and other business partners and agents to manage transfers of personal information in a manner that addresses security protocols.
RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The period during which we store your personal information varies depending on the purpose for the processing:
- For the provision of our Services, for so long as you are a customer or use the Services.
- For marketing purposes, until you have opted out of receiving further direct marketing communications in accordance with applicable law.
- In all other cases, we store your personal information for as long as is needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy or such retention period as required by law, following which time it is either anonymized (where permitted by applicable law), deleted or destroyed.

U.S. States Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Montana or any other state that has enacted applicable data protection regulations (the “Supplemental States”), the following provisions may apply to our processing of personal information as described in our Privacy Policy (“Policy”). Please note that Mockingbird may not be subject to certain of these Supplemental States regulations, but we provide the rights listed below with respect to your personal information.
Mockingbird values the privacy of our customers, users and visitors to our Sites (“you”, “your”) and we take measures to implement reasonable security controls for the protection of your information. This section does not apply to our collection, use, and sharing of personal information of our job applicants and employees.
Your Rights. If you are a resident of a Supplemental State, you may have certain rights related to your personal information. The rights listed below are not absolute, and we may be entitled to refuse requests, wholly or in part, where exceptions under applicable law apply. Your rights may include:

Subject to applicable Supplemental States laws, we may not discriminate against you because of your exercise of any of the above rights under the Supplemental States laws, including by:

Verification of identity; authorized agents: In order to process any of the foregoing rights with respect to your personal information, we reserve the right to confirm your residency in the applicable Supplemental States, and we will need to verify your identity. To do so, we may require government identification, a declaration under penalty of perjury, or other information, where permitted by law. Alternatively, we may ask you to confirm your identity by using a link, email or text message, through a phone number or email address that we have on file for you.
In some instances, your authorized agent may make a request on your behalf. We will need to verify your agent’s identity and be in receipt of a valid power of attorney as required under applicable Supplemental States law(s).
Personal Information that we collect, use, and disclose. We summarize the personal information we collect by reference below to both categories defined in the “Information We Collect” section above. In view of the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (collectively the “CCPA”), we anticipate that we will collect the following categories of personal information from customers and Site visitors.
