Voluntary Recall of Certain Strollers
At Mockingbird, our top priority is (and always has been) to ensure the safety of you and your little ones. We regularly test our strollers above and beyond the required industry standards, and constantly seek opportunities in our products and testing programs to create even safer strolling.
Despite surpassing the highest governmental regulations for stroller safety, we concluded that under certain circumstances, hairline cracks could potentially form in the stroller frame, and with continued use, pose a fall risk to the children in the stroller. Because of this, out of an abundance of caution we chose to conduct a voluntary recall in partnership with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Although this issue is very unlikely to occur, even the small possibility is preventable by installing our free Frame Reinforcement Kit.
Please use the "Confirm my Lot Number" button below to check if your stroller’s Lot Number is included in this voluntary recall. If it is, you'll be prompted to request a free Frame Reinforcement Kit, which includes two small steel clamps that attach to your stroller frame and provide an additional layer of strength and durability. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has reviewed the kit’s effectiveness in preventing this rare issue from being able to occur, and has approved it as the official solution for this voluntary recall.

FAQ's
Why is Mockingbird doing a voluntary recall of certain strollers?
Despite surpassing the highest governmental regulations for stroller safety, we concluded that under certain circumstances, hairline cracks could potentially form in the stroller frame. If the stroller continues to be used, it’s possible for the frame to break. Although this issue is very unlikely to occur, even the small possibility is preventable by installing our Frame Reinforcement Kit onto the stroller frame.
Our top priority is to ensure the safety of you and your little ones. We chose to do a voluntary recall in partnership with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission because we hope doing so will encourage everyone to get the kit and ensure even safer strolling.
Which strollers are included in this voluntary recall? How do I find my stroller type or lot number?
To determine if your stroller is included in this voluntary recall, please look for the white product label on the inner left side of your stroller frame near the top of the basket. You’ll need your Stroller Type (the text after “DESC:“), and your Lot Number (the five digits after “LOT#:CH”).
If your stroller type is a Single-to-Double Stroller (“DESC: MOCKINGBIRD DOUBLE STROLLER”) AND your Lot Number is between 20091 and 22602, your stroller is included in this voluntary recall, and you should request a Frame Reinforcement Kit.
If you have a Single Stroller (“DESC: MOCKINGBIRD STROLLER”), AND your Lot Number is between 18322 and 22278, and lot numbers 23174 and 23175, your stroller is included in this voluntary recall, and you should request a Frame Reinforcement Kit.
What if I sold or gifted the stroller to someone else, should I notify them about the recall?
Yes, please do! Our goal is that all of our affected stroller owners are aware of the voluntary recall and take action to receive and install their Frame Reinforcement Kit. Thank you so much for your help!
I received the stroller as a gift (or bought it secondhand). Can I participate in this recall?
Yes! We encourage all affected stroller owners (regardless of where you got your Stroller) to request your free Frame Reinforcement Kit.
