FAQ's
General
Where can I purchase your stroller?
Mockingbird strollers are available on our website (with our 30 day at-home trial!), as well as on Babylist.com, Target.com, and in select Target stores across the country. To see if we're in a Target near you, use our Store Locator. We recommend calling your local Target before heading over to make sure they have Mockingbird gear in stock.
Where can I purchase your high chair?
The Mockingbird High Chair is exclusively available on our website (with our 30 day at-home trial!)
Can I add Mockingbird products to my baby registry?
Yes! You can easily add Mockingbird products to most baby registries. For some (like Babylist and Target), you'll see our products listed directly on there, but if they don't offer the Mockingbird products you want, you can usually use a universal registry feature to create a link on your registry that will lead your friends & family back to our site! (Here's how that works on Amazon, Babylist, and Target.)
Please note that the 30-Day trial policy is only valid for products purchased directly from hellomockingbird.com.
Can I purchase your products as a gift?
Of course! Either just use your gift recipient’s shipping information at checkout, or check out our electronic Gift Cards, available in multiple denominations to fit your budget and your recipient’s needs.
What is pre-order and how does it work?
We currently accept pre-orders for any items that are out of stock. If a product is on pre-order, the yellow "Add to Cart" button on the product page will say "Pre-order" and the text underneath this button will give you an estimated timeline for when it will be in-stock and ready to ship. Once your item ships, it will leave our warehouse in California by UPS ground and arrive at your home typically within 3-7 business days.
If your order contains a pre-order item, all items will ship together once the pre-order item is ready. If you want items that are available sooner to ship earlier, you can place a separate order or contact us for assistance.
Please note your credit card will be charged for all items (both pre-order and in-stock) upon checking out. All items will still have the 30 Day Risk-Free Trial from the day they are received at your home.
Can I get replacement parts for my Mockingbird products?
Yup! Please contact us and we can assist you with replacement parts.
What testing and safety protocols do you follow?
We meet (and often exceed) the highest governmental regulations set by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and ASTM International. Additionally, we choose to certify our products with the Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association (JPMA), and submit all of our fabrics and materials to testing for harmful substances such as lead, phthalates, mercury, and cadmium.
Stroller
What's the difference between the Mockingbird Single Stroller and the Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller?
In 2019, we launched the Mockingbird Single Stroller, which rapidly became one of the most award-winning full-size models on the market. One request we frequently heard, though, was from parents with two stroller-age children: "I'd love to be able to add a 2nd seat!" So after months of interviews and a meticulous design & engineering process, we created the Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller, a version of our original stroller that can expand to two seats.
To check which stroller model you have, you can look at the product sticker on your stroller frame (it's located above the basket, on the left side of the metal frame when facing the back of the stroller). It will read "Mockingbird Stroller" if it's a Single Stroller and "Mockingbird Double Stroller" if it's a Single-to-Double Stroller.
What’s included with a Mockingbird Stroller?
All Mockingbird Strollers come with the stroller frame, seat, wheels, canopy, and child “bumper” bar.
Please note, if you're purchasing the two-seat compatible Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller, the 2nd Seat Kit is sold separately.
What are the age and weight recommendations for a Mockingbird Stroller?
Mockingbird strollers will be ready for you from the moment your child is born, all the way through the last day of their stroller years. We have three modes of compatibility for an infant (listed below), and then once your baby is able to sit up by themselves (usually around 6-7 months), they'll be ready for the toddler seat, which they can use all the way up through 50 lbs.
Infant-compatible modes:
1. Use our Car Seat Adapter to connect your infant car seat to our Stroller
2. Use our Bassinet in place of the stroller seat
3. Add the Infant Seat Insert into the Stroller's toddler seat and fully recline the seat to provide the necessary support for an infant
If using the Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller with two toddler seats at the same time, the weight recommendation is up to 45 lb in each seat.
What are all the different arrangements for the Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller?
Here are all the positions in which you can use the Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller:
What products should I get to stroll with a newborn in my Mockingbird?
We strongly recommend using at least one of our three infant compatibility accessories until your little one develops head and neck control. You can choose from the Bassinet, Car Seat Adapter, and Infant Seat Insert. If you’re at all unsure, your pediatrician can help you assess that milestone!
Is the Mockingbird Stroller sold at Target?
Yes! The Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller is available on Target.com and at most Target locations nationwide for an in-store demo. To find the Target closest to you that carries Mockingbird, you can use our location finder or call your local Target and ask a store representative.
What is the size and weight of a Mockingbird Stroller?
The Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller is about 27 lbs in single mode and 35 lbs in double mode including the frame, seat, wheels, canopy, and basket. It measures about 25.5” at its widest point (wheel to wheel), 40” tall (from wheels to handlebar), and 33” long (from front to back wheel). When folded, the stroller is 34” tall (with the footrest rotated parallel to the floor), 25.5” wide (from wheel to wheel), and 18” deep.

What materials are used in Mockingbird Strollers?
Like everything we do, our product materials are selected with safety, functionality, and durability in mind. Our stroller frame is built with anodized aluminum to support a smooth and secure ride. Our handlebar features a leatherette grip and contains no animal by-products (which is true of all Mockingbird products). Our seat and basket are made of heavy-duty nylon, perfect for easy cleanup of any mess (and yes, there will be cleanups!).
I’m pretty short / tall. Will the handlebar height be comfortable for me?
Our adjustable handlebar has six positions that make it workable for almost any sized parent. Kindergartners to NBA players welcome.
What are the benefits of front-locking wheels?
Imagine pushing a shopping cart over gravel—the wheels would swivel all over the place, and it would be hard to go forward, right? By using our front-locking levers, you can prevent the wheels from swiveling, so you’ll be able to handle dirt paths, bumpy sidewalks, and even gravel with ease.
How do I clean the stroller?
Our stroller materials are purposefully resistant to spills and stains, and should effortlessly wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent if needed. For those extra messy moments, the toddler seat fabric can be removed and machine washed in cold water and air dried. For even easier care, we recommend using the Seat Liner which can be quickly removed and thrown in the washing machine again and again.
Which car seats are compatible with a Mockingbird Stroller?
The Mockingbird Stroller is compatible with the following car seat models, when using our Car Seat Adapter:

- Britax (B-Safe 35, B-Safe Ultra)
- Chicco KeyFit and Fit2 (all infant car seat models)

Is the Mockingbird Stroller recalled?

High Chair
How does the High Chair convert to a Child Chair?
Just pull off the High Chair seat (with a two-button release), and slide the footrest (which becomes the seat for the Child Chair) into the top position. The whole conversion is tool-less and takes all of two minutes to complete!
Can you use the High Chair at the table?
Yes! The High Chair and Child Chair are designed to be used with a standard-height dining table of 30”, so you can pull your little one right up to the table to join mealtimes (and in High Chair mode, you can remove the tray to help here!).
What makes Mockingbird’s High Chair easier to clean than other high chairs?
We’re so glad you asked 🙂 First off, in designing our High Chair’s seat, we took a minimalist approach, avoiding the use of fabrics and opting for simple curved shapes so we could remove every possible crevice (which is often where leftover food builds up over time). We also chose to include an extra layer of protection with a tray liner that detaches easily from the tray and can be tossed in the dishwasher. And last, but certainly not least, our straps! Most high chairs use nylon straps, which food tends to stick to, no matter how much you try to clean them. So we spent years designing new, silicone-coated straps that actually wipe clean, and are also dishwasher-safe (and you’ll only find these straps on our High Chair!).
What is the High Chair made of?
The legs of our High Chair are made from sustainably sourced FSC-certified solid beechwood. Our seat, tray, and tray liner are made of non-toxic, BPA free plastic. Our straps are made of FDA-certified food-grade silicone.
Is the High Chair tray suction-friendly?
The smooth, non-porous surface of our tray is great for suction dishware (same with our tray liner)! In particular, we designed the contours of our Bowl (which comes as part of our Early Eaters Dishware Set) to get the suction with our tray and tray liner just right.
Any recommendations for dishware that was designed for early eaters and goes well with the High Chair?
Absolutely 🙂 Check out our Early Eaters Dishware Set, specifically tailored for little ones starting their journey into solid foods. It's the perfect mealtime companion to the High Chair, and includes all the essentials you’ll need to help foster safe, independent, and confident eating.

What is your return policy?

Do I need to save the box I received my product in?
You can ship your return items back to us in any box you’d like. However, we recommend saving the original shipping box, as our packaging is custom-designed to fit our products.

Upon successfully completing your order, we will charge the card you provided. If you choose to return a product within the 30-day trial window, we will process a refund to your original method of payment upon receiving your returned item.
When will I receive my refund?
The refund will typically be applied to the original method of payment within 5-7 business days of receiving the return and processing the refund.
Warranty & Registration
What products fall under your lifetime warranty?
Our strollers are covered by a lifetime warranty. Our high chairs are covered by a three year warranty. All other products are covered for two years.
What does your warranty cover?
Our warranties cover the original purchaser for any issues that arise due to manufacturing defects. They do not cover issues arising from misuse or from normal wear and tear (such as stains, scratches, and other forms of cosmetic damage). For our full Warranty policy, please visit the Warranty page.
Where do I submit a warranty claim if I have a covered issue within my warranty period?
Please submit your claim to us here.
Do I need to register my Mockingbird products to qualify for the warranty?
Nope! Many other brands require you to register—not us. Though we do still recommend that you register your product anyway.
What is the product registration page used for?
In the unlikely event of a safety alert or recall, we would notify you based on the contact and product information you provided on the Register Your Product page. Doing so is totally optional, but we encourage all our customers to register their product just in case.
Shipping
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states.
How much is it to ship my order if I live in Alaska or Hawaii?
We're thrilled to offer our products to customers in Alaska and Hawaii! To ensure proper delivery and handling, a shipping surcharge will be applied at checkout for orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.
For orders less than $100, the shipping surcharge is $25.
For orders greater than or equal to $100, the shipping surcharge is $50.
Will my shipping fees be refunded if I make a return?
The shipping fee is non-refundable in the event of a return. That said, we’ll provide you with a free prepaid return label so returns are always on us!
How long does shipping usually take?
After your order is placed, it takes 1-2 business days for us to process it at our warehouse. Once shipped, it typically takes 3-7 business days for your order to reach your doorstep (5-9 business days for Alaska and Hawaii). We use a shipping facility in California, so your timing within that window will be based on your proximity to the West Coast. Your order may be shipped in multiple parcels, and you’ll automatically receive all tracking numbers as soon as they're assigned.
Can I recycle your packaging?
Both our cardboard and plastic packaging are recyclable, and we continue to seek future opportunities to make our impact as sustainable as possible for the next generation of children.
