If you’re currently shopping for both a Stroller and Bassinet

If you’re building your Stroller system from scratch, we recommend choosing your Stroller first, then getting the Bassinet to match. Here’s a helpful video that details the differences in our 2.0 vs 3.0 Stroller models.

Both models of our Bassinet provide a flat, cozy surface for your baby while strolling or for indoor sleep (with the Bassinet Stand).

Our newest Bassinet has added ventilation panels at both the head and foot of the Bassinet, and we’ve updated the mattress pad sheet to an OEKO-TEX certified sheet.

If you already own a Mockingbird Stroller

If you already have a Mockingbird Single or Single-to-Double Stroller, you’re likely wondering about compatibility. Both the Bassinet (2025 model) and our newest Bassinet are compatible with all Mockingbird Strollers.

The 2025 Bassinet model has a Silver frame, which matches the frames of our 2.0 (and earlier) stroller models. The new Bassinet has a Charcoal frame, however the Bassinet’s body is mostly black, so the Charcoal Bassinet frame still looks really nice with a Silver stroller frame.

If you have a Sky or Bloom Stroller, and you want to match with the stroller’s seat in double mode, you’ll need to get the Bassinet (2025 model), as those colors are not available on our newest Bassinet. If you choose the new Bassinet and want to mix and match, we love Sky with a Sea or Rose Bassinet, and Bloom with a Sage or Stone Blue Bassinet.

If your stroller canopy is Black, Sea, Heather Grey, or Sage, you’ll find the same color in both models of our Bassinet.

As our roomiest infant option, the Bassinet provides a flat, cozy space for your little one, making it perfect for leisurely strolls with your infant from birth, and safe for naps and overnight sleep at home when paired with the Bassinet Stand.

Features & Use

The Bassinet replaces the stroller seat on your Mockingbird Stroller, and doubles as an infant sleep option when paired with the Bassinet Stand.

The Bassinet includes a mattress and sheet, and features a UPF 50+ canopy with pop-out visor for additional sun coverage. The canopy features a mesh panel that can be unzipped for extra airflow and a black-and-white interior pattern designed to promote early visual development.

Compatibility

The Bassinet can be used with all Mockingbird Strollers as well as our Bassinet Stand.

Strolling With Two (Siblings & Twins) If you’re planning to push two kiddos in your Single-to-Double Stroller, using your Bassinet as one of the seats, you’ll also need a 2nd Seat Kit (save the additional seat for when your infant graduates from car seat to stroller seat)!

The Single-to-Double Stroller supports only one Bassinet at a time. If you're strolling with twins, we recommend using two Infant Seat Inserts or two Car Seat Adapters (in either case, you'll need a 2nd Seat Kit to expand your stroller to double mode).

Age & Weight Guidelines

The Mockingbird Bassinet can be used from birth and is designed to be used until your little one weighs 20lbs or is able to push up on theirhands and knees, whichever comes first. Theseare milestones that are usually reached at a similar time to when an infant develops head and neck control.

Specifications

The Bassinet is approximately 11.9lbs, 30” long, 18” wide, and 13” tall with the canopy folded down.

Cleaning & Care

Removable fabrics (including the mattress pad sheet) can be machine washed in warm water and mild detergent.

All other pieces (including the inner mattress pad), hand wash with a damp cloth.

On the Stroller

When used on the Stroller, the Bassinet is the perfect infant accessory for leisurely walks and all-day outings. With a peekaboo window, a mesh panel in the UPF 50+ canopy, and a plush mattress pad, your baby is in for quite a comfy ride.

On the Bassinet Stand

When paired with the Bassinet Stand, the Bassinet is the perfect place for naps and overnight sleep. Use it in the nursery, next to your bed, or around the house. Both the Bassinet and Stand fold flat, making them a great option for travel, from road trips to grandparent sleepovers.
